August Studio of the Month: Alexa Hanna Photography
Young Photographer Making Tails Wag
Alexa Hanna, high school photographer, is responsible for decking the walls with her photos at many local pet stores and cafes in Seville, Ohio. Her impressive portfolio is the result of just one year of interest in the photography industry. Alexa discovered her passion through pet photography, which can be attributed to her dog, Topaz.
In just a year, Alexa has developed into a skilled photographer as a result of research and commitment to education in the field, including enrollment in “Unleashed”, a workshop for pet photography. She recently invested in a new DSLR camera to complete the package and is ready to take the photography industry by storm.
Alexa is best known for her patience, her love of animals, and of course her ability to connect with pets. She takes great pride in being an animal lover and it shows in her photography. Armed with a hint of humor, a dash of fresh taste and a whole lot of fun, Alexa creates truly beautiful photos, equal to that of a professional well beyond her years. Her pictures don’t only show that she is having a blast, but the pets are too. In every shoot, Alexa’s mission is to capture the special bond between a person and their pets and she does this very well.
Alexa’s work is currently on display at many local pet stores and cafes. She says she always gets comments on how beautiful her canvases from Simply Canvas are and often recommends them to her fellow photographers. Her most popular canvas sizes are 16x24, 20x30 and 30x40.
For the moment, she is the only specialized photographer in her area, to which she attributes some of her success. She plans to continue expanding her reach to larger parts of the Ohio area and eventually traveling to workshops, giving lessons along the way. Look out for this talented up-and-comer in your neighborhood soon!
